Association CN CEPLA

The Association “National Committee for Economic Cooperation with Latin American Countries” (CN CEPLA) is a non-profit organization created on February 10, 1998 on the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

CN CEPLA has many years of experience working with representatives of the diplomatic and business circles of Latin American countries and Russia, maintains friendly contacts with embassies and trade missions in Russia and in the Latin American region.
The Committee actively cooperates with chambers of commerce and industry, business associations, companies and structures in Latin America and Russia, has more than 80 companies-members and partners.


CN CEPLA participates in the Intergovernmental Commissions (IGC) on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation with Latin American countries, participates in their specialized groups, regional seminars and business meetings at both the federal and regional levels. The Committee organizes different conferences and presentations, business missions and trade events.

The Presidium of CN CEPLA, in addition to the heads of enterprises-members, includes representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Federal Customs Service of Russia and other important Russian organizations.
Goals of the Committee:

·      Promotion of products, technologies and services of Russian and Latin American partners.
·      Promoting the implementation of joint projects in the field of economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation.
·      Development of interregional cooperation.
·      Promotion of cooperation in the scientific and educational sphere.
